The portal rejected your GSTR-1. Find the row that did it.
Upload the portal's error report and your JSON file. We point at the failing rows and propose each fix, with the before and after. Your files stay in your browser.
Free to use. No sign-up. Works for the file formats the GST portal produces today.

Try it on a GSTIN
This GSTIN was misread from a scanned invoice: the letter O where the digit 0 belongs. Edit it, or paste your own.
Not a valid GSTIN
- Characters 3 to 12 should look like a PAN: five letters, four digits, one letter.
- The last character doesn't match the other 14.
This looks like a misread:

We swapped look-alike characters (O and 0, I and 1, S and 5, B and 8). Compare with the invoice before you rely on it.

What a proposed fix looks like
Every fix names the cell it changes and shows the old and new value. You accept each one that touches an amount. You can undo any of them.
- 1
Upload. The error report from the portal, and the JSON you uploaded.
- 2
Match. We find each failing invoice or note in your file.
- 3
Review. Accept or skip each proposed change. Items that need a decision from you or your CA are explained, not guessed.
- 4
Download. Take the corrected JSON back to the portal.
| Cell | File has | Should be |
|---|---|---|
| IGST (RET191205) | 28.14 | 28.15 |
| Invoice value | 128.67 | 128.68 |
Tax is taxable value × rate, rounded half-up to two decimals. The invoice value moves with it when it matched the lines before.

Questions people ask first
Does TurboGST file my return?
No. You file on the GST portal with your own login. We help you prepare and check the JSON file, then fix it if the portal rejects it.
Do my files leave my computer?
Not for the free tools. The calculators, GSTIN validator, invoice checkers, JSON splitter and error fixer all run in your browser; your files and figures are never uploaded to us.
Which fixes happen automatically?
Only two kinds: correcting a rate field to the rate your tax amounts already imply, and correcting the file's own GSTIN to the one you are filing for. Anything that changes an amount, a customer GSTIN or an invoice number waits for you to accept it, with the before and after shown.
How do you know what the portal's error codes mean?
From public write-ups of real portal errors. Each code page shows the date we last checked it. Codes we don't recognise are listed as unknown rather than guessed at.
Is this tax advice?
No. A fix that changes a figure is a suggestion. Check it against the invoice, and ask your CA when a choice has tax consequences, such as moving a sale from B2B to B2C.
