Get it

Not in the stores yet

The extension is waiting for store review. This page will link to it as soon as it is approved. Until then, download your file and upload it on the portal as usual.

How it works

  1. 1

Prepare the file. Generate GSTR-1 from your invoices, split a big file, or fix one the portal rejected.

  2. 2

Click Send to GST portal. The button appears next to each file once the extension is installed. If the portal isn't open, it opens the sign-in page.

  3. 3

Check and upload. Sign in on the portal, open Returns > Offline upload, and the file is already in the box. Press Upload yourself.

What it does

  • Puts one JSON file into the portal's upload box.
  • Refuses files that aren't valid JSON, or are over 5 MB.
  • Shows a small card on the portal while a file is waiting, with a Fill upload box button.

What it never does

  • Read portal pages, returns, ledgers or your profile.
  • See, store or send your portal password, OTP or signature.
  • Press Upload, Submit or File for you.
  • Make network requests of its own, or run code from the internet.

Permissions, in plain words

Storage
Holds the one file you sent until it is placed or removed.
gst.gov.in

turbogst.in
Lets this website hand it a file when you click Send to GST portal.

Questions people ask

What does the TurboGST extension do?
When you click Send to GST portal on a file you prepared here, it puts that file into the upload box on the GST portal's offline-upload page. You check it and press Upload yourself.
Does it read my GST portal data?
No. It doesn't read pages, responses, returns, ledgers or your profile, and it makes no network requests of its own. It only receives the file you send and places it in the upload box.
Does it file my return or sign in for me?
No. You sign in to the portal with your own login and one-time password, and you press Upload and any later step yourself.
Where is my file kept?
In your browser's memory until it is placed in the upload box or you remove it. It is not uploaded to us by the extension.
What is the file size limit?
The portal accepts up to 5 MB. The extension refuses anything larger. Use the GSTR-1 JSON splitter first.
Do I need the extension?
No. You can download any file and upload it on the portal as usual.
