GSTR-3B Tables 3.1 and 3.2 are auto-filled. How to correct them

Outward supply tables in GSTR-3B are populated from your GSTR-1 and can't be edited. Where to fix mistakes instead.

The outward-supply values in GSTR-3B Table 3.1, and the inter-state supply values in Table 3.2 (supplies to unregistered persons, composition taxpayers and UIN holders), are filled in from GSTR-1, GSTR-1A and the IFF. They can no longer be edited in GSTR-3B.

Why this matters

A mistake in GSTR-1 now follows you into GSTR-3B. You can't fix it by overtyping the 3B figure.

How to correct a mistake

  • Before you file GSTR-3B for the period: amend through GSTR-1A, which is available once GSTR-1 is filed and before GSTR-3B for that period is filed.
  • After: report the amendment in the next period's GSTR-1.

Dates differ between sources

Sources give different start dates for this change (April, July or November 2025) and for further locking of input tax credit in 2026. Check the GSTN advisory for the period you're filing.
