RET191113: Invalid GSTIN of customer

A customer GSTIN (`ctin`) in the file is not valid — it may be mistyped, inactive, or not registered.

Why it happens

  • A typo in the 15-character GSTIN (often an O/0 or I/1 confusion from scanned invoices).
  • The customer's registration was cancelled or never existed.

How to fix it

  1. Find the failing invoice numbers in the error report.
  2. Correct the customer GSTIN (we suggest checksum-valid candidates) and regenerate.
  3. If the customer is unregistered, report the sale as B2C instead.

This error is reported in: b2b, cdnr.
