RET191205: Tax amount doesn't equal taxable value × rate

On a line, the tax doesn't match taxable value × rate, rounded to 2 decimals (for example ₹100.53 at 28% is ₹28.15).

Why it happens

  • Manual edits to tax amounts.
  • Rounding done per invoice instead of per line.

How to fix it

  1. Recalculate the tax as taxable value × rate and round to 2 decimals (proposed fix shows before/after).
